Photographing the urban landscape is a fun way to see the city around you in a very intimate way. Capturing the essence of a city or town takes patience, forethought and a good eye. In this class we will go to some of Greg's choice spots for image making in and around Denver. The flavor and vibrancy of an urban environment is not always the flashy downtown, so we will shoot in different boroughs of the city each week- looking to capture the excitement and vibrancy of our fair city. This class is a split between the technical and theory, so look forward to discussions on lens perspective and color balance as well as composition and mood. Each week we will be holding critiques as well as demonstrating gear like large format cameras and digital tilt shift lenses.
