For over 25 years, Whitney Yeager has taken thousands of images with her classic Nikon FM2 35mm camera and her medium format Hasselblad. A mother of 3 small kids, she has been a professional photographer since 2007, specializing in family and children. She is a location photographer, using natural light, and offers her clients candid, black & white portraits. She has been teaching Photographing Children workshops in Denver since 2008.
Whitney began her photography education at an early age while attending Roland Park Country School in Baltimore, Maryland, where she learned her way around the darkroom under the artistic guidance of Janet Hartman. In 1998 while living in Chicago, she studied Photojournalism under Richard Stromberg at the Jane Addams Center.
Her photography has been featured at many galleries around Colorado including The Center for Fine Art Photography, Flash Gallery, Curtis Arts & Humanities Center, The Spark Gallery, Edge Gallery and The Littleton Museum. She is currently a Board Member with the Colorado Photographic Arts Center (CPAC).
